    noun:- potato

  • squatter
    noun:- originally a land owner who leased land from the Government, it now refers to someone who is occupying someone else's land illegally.

    noun:- a scrutinising look.

    noun:- a large farm, usually cattle or sheep. US = ranch.

    noun:- an overly inquisitive or nosy person who cannot mind their own business.

    noun:- a mounted station hand. US = cowboy.

    misc:- an exclamation or expression of amazement, perhaps short for "its the truth".

    noun:- what this site is all about, Australian Slang. Strine is a nasally contraction of "Australian".

    noun:- a polystyrene holder for a stubbie beer bottle that increases the grip factor and keeps the beer cool.

    noun:- a small short necked bottle of beer (375ml). Not to be confused with the Darwin Stubbie.
